A job that changes lives

This morning I woke up realising that I am in a very fortunate position where I can change for the better people lives.

When I got to work, my first patient of the morning had a severe tooth ache and was climbing the walls, within 30 minutes he was out of pain and happy drinking his complimentary brazilian coffee bean espresso in our patient lounge.

The last patient of the morning, was young man who has been grinding his teeth for years, I had explained the causes of this grinding and the treatment options available to him and with my guidance we decided to build up his teeth with tooth coloured resin bondings. This meant that we did not need to drill or damage his teeth at all and the size and shape of his new teeth was planned properly with his bite and grinding in mind before we started.

His appointment was 1 hour long, he did not have the need for any local anaesthetic (injection) or drilling of the teeth and by the end of the appointment, I had once again changed a fellow human beings life - for the better. (have a look at the photos )
